Are you a real estate professional? You might find this discussion fascinating.

The Magic Of Doing More With Less
There are few things I love more than reading sentient thoughts about SEO and Internet marketing. David's thinking is clear as a ringing bell. In this post he helps real estate brokers understand why not all social tools are equal (quick note: even if you are NOT in real estate this is an important, intelligent read about SEO and G+, a read any IMer should take notes from).

I agree with David's analysis and would go further. If you are NOT the top dog in content marketing...

Seeking Glass Explorers: goo.gl/PbKWr

Last year we showed Glass to the world for the first time - we jumped out of airships, crashed New York Fashion Week and even took a ride on the subway. It's been an exhilarating journey so far and there's a lot more to come, but we can't go it alone. We're developing new technology that is designed to be unobtrusive and liberating, and so far we've only scratched the surface of the true potential of Glass.

Now we want you to get involved and that's why today we're...

Here's one I took about a month ago in Sydney, Australia. It's shot from underneath the Sydney Harbor Bridge, which was built in 1932. For a time, it was the world's widest long span bridge. And until 1967 it was Sydney's tallest structure. :-)

Alarm Clock Shocks You Awake

Wake up! ZAP! Good morning. The singNshock alarm clock looks and behaves like any other alarm clock. It plays the radio or music to wake you up. But if that's not enough for sleepy-heads, the clock can also be programmed to deliver an electrical pulse. The shock is transferred through the button that turns off the alarm. So if you're thinking about turning off your alarm, rolling over and going back to sleep, think again. Just a few millivots are delivered and so you shouldn't...

Congratulations to my friend +Urs Hölzle for election into the National Academy of Engineering. I have learned so much from him over the last twelve years.
Jeff Dean originally shared this post:
I'm very pleased to see that my friend and colleague +Urs Hölzle has been elected a foreign associate of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, for "contributions to the design, operation, and energy efficiency of large-scale data centers."

Urs has had tremendous influence on Google's operations, and it is his technical work and leadership at the datacenter and infrastructure level that allows Google to operate our myriad services used by more than a billion people (working with many others, of...

"Once you go ChromeOS, you'll never want to use anything else."

Wow, that's some strong endorsement!

Chromebook has actually become my primary laptop at work and my family's primary computer at home.  I admit: I like it more than I thought I would.

Four Generations of Chromebooks
#chrome   #chromeos   #chromebook

One of the greatest things about Chromebooks is that they get better with age, not just in terms of capability, but speed too. At work, I use the Samsung 550 Chromebook, and now I've got the light Samsung Chromebook at home. Of course, the original CR-48 model and the white Samsung 5 series do their own heavy lifting too. I just powered up all my devices to Chrome 26 on the Dev Unstable channel, because who doesn't like living on ...
