罗大佑

罗大佑是真正开启一个时代的人物，他的“音乐教父”地位不是偶然，完全是他的才华和创作实绩所奠定的，从某种意义上说，罗大佑的成就是不可超越的。罗大佑不但自己演唱了一大批经典歌曲，而且他创作的歌曲被其他歌手演唱后一样成为经典，如陈淑桦、辛晓琪、张艾嘉等，都从中获益。罗大佑的作品已经远远超出了一般流行歌曲通俗流畅的概念，涉及面广、表达深刻，最重要的是注入了一种具有永恒意义的精神。

一九八八年，罗大佑在出版了《爱人同志》后，在香港成立了“音乐工厂”，是滚石和罗大佑合资成立的唱片公司，邀请了林夕和意大利作曲家花比傲的加入，旗下歌手有袁凤英，黄耀明等，并出版了首张闽南语专辑《原乡》，1991年出版了《皇后大道东》，其中有多首和林夕合作的作品，销量达30多万张。著名词人林夕就是在音乐工厂成了大气，并与1991至1994年在音乐工厂担任总监至总经理，音乐工厂的三部曲有《皇后大道东》《原乡》《首都》。
