For the first time ever, Android tablets have overtaken iPads in sales

IDC reports that for the first three months of 2013, 49.2 million tablets shipped. 27.8 million of those tablets run Android, while Apple shipped 19.5 million tablets.

How the tides have turned:

Q1 2013:
Android - 56.5%
iOS - 39.6%

Q1 2012:
Android - 39.4%
iOS - 58.1%

Rapper Chris Kelly, of Kriss Kross, dies

Chris Kelly, of the 1990s rap duo Kris Kross, has died at age 34.

Authorities said Kelly was pronounced dead in a hospital in Atlanta, Georgia at approximately 5 p.m. The cause of death has not yet been determined. 

The duo included Kelly, known as "Mac Daddy," and Chris Smith, known as "Daddy Mac." The group was best known for the song "Jump" off their multiplatinum 1992 debut album "Totally Krossed Out." Kris Kross went on to tour with Michael Jackson and have...

I'll be saying a few words at an unveiling of these new statues on Sunday, May 12, at The Hills here in New Zealand.  A few of you may be there! Sir Richard Taylor from Weta Workshop and Sir Michael Hill will be there for the official unveling of its newest work, 'The Frolic and the Fancy' by Max Patte.  Max liked this photo I took one day while I was out golfing, so it will be fun to be there for the official event!  I never know what to say at these things… I'll just be quick and get off the stage...
